After last year’s successful pre-conference workshops, the User Conference Committee has opted to offer this valuable opportunity again this year. This year’s pre-conference sessions are being hosted by Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO, just minutes from the St. Charles Convention Center.
Two separate sessions will be offered and are briefly described below. Both sessions will begin with a greet and meet at 8:30AM, with a session start time of 9:00 AM. These specialized sessions do have limited seating, so reserve your place today! To attend, please select the workshop of your choice during the online registration process.
Pre Conference Session 1: SQL Scripting (Limited to 40 attendees)
Gain valuable knowledge and experience from technology experts on the following topics:
- SQL Server stored procedures
- SQL Server triggers
- Referencing stored procedures from ASP
- Database backup/restore settings and procedures
Pre Conference Session 2: Customizing Portals (Limited to 40 attendees)
This year’s conference will offer some technical tracks on customizing portals. If your preference is for a hands-on experience, then this is a session for you. The same material will be offered during this pre-conference session, but it will add a hand-on opportunity to practice skills and tips that are presented. Learn how to:
- Change style sheets
- Add or remove functionality
- Delve deeper into the architecture of the portals
- Create your own pages and calls to the CAMS Database
- Create your own middleware and web service calls to execute business logic and access user defined fields
